Dear Diary…oops!
Dear Blog,
I always wanted to have my own blog but I wasn’t sure how a blog should be written and managed, so I never created one. Then I heard Mercury tell someone that it was very easy to create a blog…especially at wordpress.com and I decided to try it out.
You see I am quite fond of writing. All my friends think that I am a bit different. They think that I am too philosophical for my own good. They also feel that I spend a lot more time with humans, than I should. I agree with their opinion and I unabashedly accept both these apparent follies as my strengths. So, here I am, “writing” my blog, and sharing my thoughts with the world.
Give me a moment…there is someone out there, on the window ledge! Let me check this out!

Squirrels! If you stay in a house with a tree, you know what they are. They are small, furry, and noisy mice. Humans like to feed them because they look cute when they eat. You know squirrels, don’t you? If you don’t here’s a picture!
Do you see those innocent eyes, the apparently cute way of holding the food, and that furry tail? Everything made-to-impress-humans! As far as I am concerned, they are a nuisance with their high-pitched voices and their tendency to sink their sharp teeth into anything edible!
Never mind the squirrels! When I am around they wouldn’t dare to come in. Mercury knows that they avoid coming into the house because they are scared of me. She loves squirrels…Bah!
Coming back to the blog and to blogging. As I said earlier, it’s a fairly new experience for me. I have jumped into the blogging waters; I am splashing around, trying to keep myself afloat. I am sure I’ll get the knack of it soon…but until then, if you stumble upon my entries, judge them from about 20 inches from the ground…from my perspective!
I’ll be adding a lot of interesting stuff in the days to come, including my picture:-)
