If you are wondering why my blog posts and blog trips haven’t got back to speed – I place the burden of blame squarely on Airtel – our Internet service provider. We made a request for the transfer of our connection 12 days back – but they and their innumerable vendors are completely confused and we haven’t got our connection yet!
I’m using Mercury’s home computer to write this post – and believe it or not, we get up at 3 in the morning to complete all our Internet-related work before we leave for office at 7:45 AM!
Life’s crazy with humans – and dear canine friends, I should tell you that I’ve begun to appreciate the efforts of these two more – ever since I starting working full-time.
More later (when we get our connection.)

Stumble Oorvi's Diary!

Hi, Oorvi!
That situation sounds very familiar to me!
Our internet suppliers are the worst in the whole world!
I hope you have yours working soon!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
They can’t be worse than ours – this company Airtel used to be good in the past…but they’ve been slipping. They work through what they call the DSA (Direct Service Agent or something) system…and the DSA that we are dealing with is pathetic. Yesterday, Cameo made a formal complaint to Airtel and they’ve promised that the issue would be resolved within 24 hours! I am keeping my paws crossed.
Oh Oorvi….we hate ta gloat but we have DSL now in 2 places….’n it works great too….we sure hope yer provider gets their act together…..we know how frustratin’ it can be when ya can’t get access ta the Web….how did we ever live without it?
Like the blue bird on yer header…we haven’t seen one like that around here….don’t work too hard at that super special window ya have at the office……hope ya have a few minutes fer star gazin’…..since it seems like yer there before daylight….
Dewey Dewster here…….
Thanks for liking the bird. The new photographer in the family is Cameo, and so we are going to have tons of dog-pictures now. After we get the connection (from another provider, I hope) I’ll post pictures of two doggies on the fluffiest double-bed you’ve ever seen:)
(Daylight begins at about 6 in winters – and at 5 in summers…but you are right, I’ve been working too hard – to keep my sanity I need a break!)
Have they offshored their staffing to the US?

Guess not. Whatever I know of Americans tells me that they don’t make promises they don’t intend to keep…or do they?

Don’t get me started about the internet…It takes forever to download and upload stuff…
But…there’s hope as our neighbourhood is supposed to get high speed broadband. We see them installing the optic fibres on our walks. Paws and fingers crossed!
The optical cables will make your connection faster:)
