This Page has been Updated! (September 05, 2008)
You see, when I first pawed in the text for this page, I was a blog-rookie, who didn’t expect to find such wonderful humans and canines in this virtual world. To be truthful, I was a bit apprehensive, and so I kept the content on this page minimal. My eyes are now becoming used to the spotlight, and I’d love you to know me better!
Family Bonds!
I am a Zinar Cutie, who lives with two homosapien-canines, who answer to the names of Mercury and Cameo. Mercury and I are of the fairer sex…and so, demographically speaking, the sex ratio in the family is somewhat skewed. Mercury is my grasping, kiss-wrenching, forever-raise-crazy assistant who has this atrocious habit of plugging her name all over my blog. Cameo is just the opposite of this rapacious woman. He is smart, handsome, and friendly…and he loves all dogs. He is my hero…and I really don’t know what keeps them together! I guess there must be some truth in the saying “opposites attract!”
Boy…Me…Nah!
My name often conjures an image of a strong, intelligent, and handsome male dog (I know…I know,) but I assure you that I am not that guy. I am a cute (some say, pretty) girl dog! I would prefer the adjectives glamorous and beautiful to cute and pretty…but with a height/weight ratio of 18 inches by 35 pounds, I am no Saluki! So I accept your compliments with all the grace a Zinar Cutie can muster…thank you:)
My Responsibilities:
Other than the usual canine responsibilities, I am also the marketing/management guru who loves to catalyze the revival of common sense in humans, a dog-news hound, a champion of the canine cause, and a dog-playground manager (or janitor!) I don’t know if you’ve heard the term Oodget somewhere – but I am the producer of Oodgets (cute dog widgets) too.
Tips to the First-timers!
Here’s a tip for those who have chanced upon this treasure, and who are about to misjudge it and move on without bookmarking it.
“Don’t judge a blog by reading just one post!”
If you want to enjoy surfing my blog, I recommend that you start your journey from my first post. I made that post on May 20, 2008. If you use the calendar, you should be able to find your way through. I know that you’ll want to read all the posts at once (oh yeah!) but I recommend that you plan your time. You may also want to use the categories to browse. Check out the “News”, “Management”, “Philosophy”, “Puzzles”, and “Games” categories. Who knows what might be a whiff of roasted chicken to you!
I have another suggestion for the humans who are visiting this blog for the first time. Please explore the pages “Tips to Humans” and “Oo-Glossary“.
Add this blog to your favorites and come back when you are feeling low – I’ll bring a smile to your lips!
Love, licks, n Wags,

My Rookie Introduction! (May 20, 2008)
I am Oorvi. I am five, about 18” high with all fours on ground:) I celebrate my Birthday on February 15.
I love to think, analyze, and write; qualities not often admired in dogs – but then I’ve started this blog to connect with like-minded dogs and dog-friends. If you are one or the other, you are welcome to my blog:)

Stumble Oorvi's Diary!

[...] About Oorvi! [...]
Nice update Oorvi,
Read it once…will have ta read it again….
Dewey Dewster here…..
Dear Oorvi,
1) Firstly, thanks for your comment on my blog on “Gritty girl who score 9 1As in Malaysia.”
2) I resumed my blog in Nov, 2008 after I overcame dealing with blogging technicalities. I am not a computer geek.
3)Another reason for my earnest involvement in blogging is our rapid decline of human rights, no respect for law and constitution, unfair persecutions on common people and our political opposition leaders using “Internal Security Act” to suppress freedom of speech and informations. It has caused widespread racial tension among the malays, chinese, indians and other minorities in Malaysia, a country of peace and plenty.
4) With regards to your blog, we’re on the same path to create awareness of what we care about in this beautiful earth. The mess our politicians created on this “small blue dot” as what Carl Sagan called is abused with a slow death.
5) Sorry, I am not a dog lover. Lately, my friend called me whether I can find my friends to adopt dogs disowned by its owners. I was lucky to find some good hearted friends to adopt them at their homes. If not, the fate of stray dogs lingering in public will be unknown when the Govt catched them and God knows what they do to them.
6) Yesterday, I was watching the American Indians elders on the prophesy of earth in Youtube. I agreed with them we should respect nature, animals, forest and enviroment before we self destruct ourselves.
Happy Blogging and a Better Tomorrow.
Cheers
Matthew Ng

Hi Ms. Viv,
Thanks:)
I love your site. Keep it up !
Hi,
I’m glad that I came across your blog, OORVI’S DIARY at oorvi.wordpress.com. You have some very useful and interesting posts there. I will put a link to your blog from my site, if this is okay with you.
I help run a store called HiSunglasses.com; it’s not really a big one, but it’s getting there. Please have a look. If you could possibly place a small link of my site, that would be really great.
Have a great day and hope to hear from you.
Happy blogging,
Mitch
