Tips for Humans

Humans are welcome to my site! I don’t believe in species-bias. Despite being intrigued by the complex machinations of the human mind, I believe in their ability to see different perspectives. In fact, I like most humans…especially those who are kind to animals.

So, if you are a human, don’t feel shy…dig around. You may find a bone or two that may make you drool…who knows! Don’t give up without trying…that’s what I say.

Now coming to another issue that my perspicacity makes me consider!

While you are here, you may feel funny about these things:

• You’ll find that I use a mild canine dialect of English. Though I try to keep my language as close to Humanese as possible, I may at times slip and begin to bark. But I’d like to assure you that my bark is completely comprehensible. A quick trip to the glossary will set you up and a couple of jaunts could convert this blog into your favorite haunt!
• You may feel a bit awkward, leaving a comment for a dog! “What am I doing talking to a dog?” you would ask yourself! Well, well! That’s nothing but species-bias…kill it quick!
• Another question that may assail your good sense could be, “How do I write to a dog?” The answer is simple…you talk to me in Humanese…I am pretty good at it!

Let me illustrate:

You don’t have to paw in your thoughts; you can simply type,
You don’t have to bark at me, you can just write!
You don’t need to lick my snout; you can simply pat it,
You don’t need to wag your tail; you can just smile a bit!
You might not enjoy sniffing about; you may just search!
And who knows, you may find this place to be just your kind of perch!
(Sheesh! And now you are a bird!)
